Guest Post: Etched Glass Tutorial

I'm excited to announce my very first guest post! Evelyn from Delightful Creations is a new blogging friend of mine who always writes the nicest comments to me, and has some very cute projects  of her own--(I  love her felt pillows and cinnamon candles!)

She has a great tutorial for etching glass, a project I've always wanted to try. I have stared at the kits in craft stores, wondering how it all works, but have never bought the supplies.

Here's a little intro from Eva: "Hello everybody! So today I wanted to give a tutorial on "How to Etch Glass". This is one of my favorite projects. The ideas are endless! I etched one of my vases that I frequently use to put my flowers in! Lately I've been buying them every Saturday when I go to the Farmers Market so I thought I would give it a cute little touch. I'm looking forward to etching my glass dishes too. You know those glass containers that you might have where you store your left overs? Well sometimes I use those to take food in for a potluck or something, so if you etch your last name on it, they'll know who it belongs to and it makes it easier for you to get your dish back.

You'll need your Cricut Machine, (Martha Stewart stencils would work too but you would have to throw it away after) glass, Armour Etch, a brush, masking tape & amp; vinyl..." Interested as I was to learn about this process?

I think it's a great idea for  repurposing bottles with nice shapes to them and giving them a tailored touch.  (I have some sitting on my counter for oil with no nice lettering yet.)
Eva will take the mystery away for you today and show you how she personalized a glass vase. I hope you'll visit Delightful Creations to view this and more of her pretty projects by clicking here.
